On Friday 25th March 2016, whilst in Camden Town, I saw this.  A wonderful sight.  No helmet, and normal clothes.

I took the cover off a VHS player.  Amazing to see the mechanics.

On 1st January 2016, I saw this.  “Please don’t knock into me, I’m wearing hi-vis”.

On the 26th December 2015, a few of Tiffany’s friends and our cousin came round for predrinks before they went out.  I had a lovely photo with her.

Christmas 2015. For this past year I have not used, and forever more I will not use, a disposable plastic water bottle.  The idea of paying for water which probably is not as good for you as tap water baffles me.  Water bottling companies take water often without due compensation to the locality and then harm the environment in the lorries to transport it.  Then the plastic is often thrown but not recycled after the water from hundreds of miles away is drank.  Why?  My sister got this for me.  A refillable bottle.  Also inside is a piece of coal which filters the tap water and lasts for 9 months.  After which I can use it to absorb my shoe smell (if they did), break it up as plant fertiliser or burn it to keep warm.

Also from Tiffany, another present this Christmas 2015 was a Nutella jar with instead branded with my name.  Despite my anti-capitalist rhetoric screaming at me, it is quite a nice idea for a fan of chocolate spread of which I am.

On Christmas Eve every year, we old school friends meet up at Tom’s house. It’s lovely.

Why is this not a common sight up and down the country?

On 5th November, I cycled a few miles to a local firework display.  It was my first time shooting at night.

A selection of photos accompanied by a short explanation, if needed.

On 8th November, I attended Wellingborough’s Remembrance Sunday event and afterwards went into The Red Well for a drink and to read.  It was packed except the recently vacated table of four so I promptly sat down.  I began reading.

A man soon asked if he could join me.  I concurred with his attitude, exchange niceties, continued reading for ten more minutes and went to leave.  He immediately interjected with an explanation of his apparent lonesomeness stating that his friend should have joined him at half the hour – it was now ten minutes later.  Concern spread across his face as he elaborated that his friend, older than this man’s age of 75 was beginning to suffer from dementia.  After reminding his friend only the previous night and giving details of which buses at which times had to be taken, it seemed the friend had forgot.  I felt sad.

This photo shows his concern.  His gaze across the room makes you wonder what’s going through his mind.  Earlier in the week they had arranged to meet and he did not show then.  I stood up to leave and wished him well and instantaneously smile lit his face as he noticed the friend near the bar looking for him.  Wonderful.

A new McDonald’s opened in Wellingborough on Wednesday 28th October 2015.  I went down to take some photos.  Tablets and all!
