My July 2024

I am sure it was just the 1st August a couple of days ago. We are now approaching the end of the month. I am not sure how it happened. To keep up the consistency of posting with my month review in photos, here is the slightly delayed review of July 2024. To begin creating this post, I quickly had a look at My June 2024. It feels as if it happened ages ago. Life is busy! There’s always something going on.

The beginning of the month started off with a Labour event attended by Keir Starmer. A few days later it was the General Election. What a busy time! A bit of work and then me and my friend, Seb went away on a much needed restful holiday. Whilst on holiday I stuck to resisting the temptation to check my work emails. I simply completely disconnected. This was very much needed. It was restful in this sence but maybe not physically. It was a cycling holiday Dunkirk to Vlissingen then onwards Rotterdam, through Delft, The Hague, Leiden and on to Haarlem. Then across to Amsterdam and down to Utrecht. Oh, and then a train to Brussels for a couple of days ready for the Eurostar back. Seeing so much of the Netherlands this way was superb. I plan to create a separate post about this but that will take ages. There are a few photos down below.

On my return, a busy few days with Critical Mass Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Pride and then settling back into work. It was delayed but I suddenly got a post holiday blues feeling. Luckily it did not last long.

Speak soon,

Samuel x
