It feels like just yesterday I was watching the fireworks on BBC One but simulateously feels as if the month of January was the longest ever. It just never ended! It is day 32/365. 8.7% of the year complete.
Usually I am financially careful in my life but this past month I was particularly mindful of spending. I have a holiday coming up. Now we have entered February, I can officially say, that next month, albeit near the end of March, I am going on holiday. I cannot wait.
The month started off with a bit of rain and cold turning and eventually turning to snow. A trip to Wellingborough (for a funeral, sadly), numerous running activities (50.6km), really increasing my gym attendance, different activities with work, and lots of cycling made up my month (total of 157.91 miles). As I did towards the end of last year, I continued my usage of OLIO, the free food sharing app. I just love the concept. I am getting free food that supermarkets would have thrown away because the label says it is out of date.
