I am not quite sure how much I managed to miss writing a blog post after my gay night out in Manchester. It was a moment of brilliance. How?
Anyway, back on August 6th I got the train with Seb to Manchester.
After a quick stop off in Nottingham, we arrived late afternoon and walked, via Canal Street to our hotel.
Seeing Canal Street in person was wonderful. I have, obviously, seen many references to this street. My most vivid exposure was a few years ago when I watched Queer As Folk.

We then went out exploring Manchester for a while.

We then went back to the hotel and got ready to go out.
I then had a good time. Drank a lot. Went to many places.
The next day, after a bit of a lie in we further explored the city. Home to Manchester is the National Football Museum. Although I have no interest in playing with balls with your feet (well), Seb does. I did actually enjoy looking around. I appreciate the passion and power of the sport.
Further exploring.
I had a lovely night out in Manchester. I will be doing it again.
